Site information

Privacy

What this static site stores in your browser, when optional analytics can load, and what happens when you follow an external source link.

Information you submit

GameNextMove currently has no account system, comments, newsletter form, or contact form. The site does not ask you to submit a name, email address, or payment information.

Optional Google Analytics

The production site is configured for Google Analytics 4, but it loads only after you choose “Allow” in the analytics notice. A deployment without PUBLIC_GA4_MEASUREMENT_ID does not show the notice or send GA4 analytics data.

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics may receive page and event information along with browser, device, session, and approximate location data. Google says it uses a first-party _ga cookie to distinguish browsers when analytics storage is active. Read Google's data collection summary for its current description.

Site-search events are sent only after analytics is allowed. They may include the search text and the number of matching pages, so do not put personal information into the search box.

Your analytics choice

The site stores gnm-analytics-consent in your browser's local storage so it can remember whether you allowed or declined analytics. You can clear the site's stored data in your browser to reset that choice. Declining analytics does not block articles or search.

External links

Source links open websites operated by Game Science, Bilibili, YouTube, or another named publisher. Those sites have their own privacy practices. GameNextMove does not embed their players on the pages currently published, so visiting an article does not by itself load a Bilibili or YouTube player.

Changes and questions

This page will be updated if the site adds a form, another analytics service, advertising, or a feature that changes how data is handled. The current public contact status is listed on the contact page.
